Adding the Concrete for Foundation Another large step for building our dream home today. The concrete trucks lined up and began pouring the concrete for the foundation. Soooo exciting. Made me think about how laying the foundation for a house is like laying a foundation for life. Before laying the foundation, all the prep work has to be done. The workers have been busy doing that over the past weeks. Just as in life, the materials to be used for building the foundation must be selected. In this case – concrete. Wandering in the muck With the selected materials, the process of building the foundation begins. As the materials are added, a person sometimes has to wander around in a bit of muck. Maintaining a positive outlook, as this guy is doing, makes it so much easier. Off balance Sometimes, things seem a little off balance.
